Noida Deteriorating on most fronts
Not sure about UP but Noida seems to have deteriorated on most fronts in last 12 months. Power Supply, Waste Management, Sanitation, Water, Air quality, encroachment, Law/Order.
And the problem I find is the administration doesnt even come out and say what they are doing to address these conditions?
Announcing airports and all are good announcements but no relief to people unfortunately...trying times. more

Big example of mismanagement by Noida Authority/Noida Police/District Administration is Sector-18/Atta which is a big gathering point. Two foot cross overs of main road with traffic signals have been disbanded. But there is no control of foot path/road encroachment, parking on roads/metro area, wrong side driving, pressure horn use etc. Every morning, heavy vehicles like buses drive wrong side from sector-19 to Sec-18/Atta road. more

The problems being faced by Noida are certainly not "OF LATE".... The problem of power supply, water supply, cleanliness of roads, encroachments have been there in Noida since 2004, from the time I have moved to Noida. Though power supply has improved and water supply has also improved over the past 2 years or so. In the past 1 year Power supply has improved still further and there is hardly any periods when there is any Power shedding. If there is tripping it is due to maintenance and repair needs. Also power is switched off whenever there is a strong wind or storm. This cannot be helped at the present juncture due to poor condition of the OVERHEAD Lines. Surprisingly no one even had to guts to complain about these things 2-12 years ago. Now people want the problems to be set right and in "NO TIME". No one wants to pay for facilities, every one wants facilities but do not want to pay for them. Whether it is reliable transport, Good Roads, cleanliness, etc. The fact is that Noida was a wonderful city just upto about 12 years ago. After that the administration has been corrupt and so has the government and politicians been corrupt. I am sure all right thinking people would realise that the level of corruption has d been so high and so much deep rooted that it is difficult to overcome this in short period. Specially for Government employees, who cannot be dismissed even if they steal and hoard un-earned money. These are the rules and cannot be overcome just like that. There is only one relief at present that the Government is heading in the right direction and hopefully in 3-4 years things would improve drastically. HOWEVER, ALL OF MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS OUR ASSISTANCE, COOPERATION AN SUPPORT TO to kill the evils in our society. more

I fully agree that of late services in Noida are going from bad to worst specially electric supply, poor water pressure and cleanliness. One can find kooda kachra all over the place. It is high time that authority makes efforts to improve the services. more

I want to know the existing channels on which the Noida Authority exchanges information with the public. Except for the news media, which gives journalist's views, there is no forum for the citizen to know, from the horse's mouth, as to what all is being done by Noida authority to improve the quality of life. Isn't that atrocious? The complaint cells established by them in different departments seldom respond, they never give the Complaint Number, so no follow up is possible, there is no escalation mechanism to approach the higher levels. Just speaking softly (as they normally do) is not enough to dispose off a complaint. The citizen does not know what to do & whom to approach & in what manner. There is a total disconnect between the public & Noida Authority. This NCR town is in a state of total anarchy. Is someone in the U P Govt listening to what citizens of Noida feel. 'Ram Mandir' is a low priority activity for them; 'Ram Rajya' is far more important at present. more
