Non availability of reasonably priced Vitamin C
Govt of India had some times back imposed restrictions on the price of some essential medicines and Vitamins. Since then Vitamin C has disappeared from the market and is not available. Limcee, Chewcee, Celine was the Vitamin available in the market at reasonable price. But now this essential Vitamin has disappeared from the market. Vitamin C in apure form is helpful in controlling many diseases including scurvy and boosts immune system. Unfortunately the Government is doing nothing in the matter and Health Ministry has completely washed off its hands. Consumers should put pressure on the concerned Wing of Health Ministry and ensure supply of Vitamin C in the market. more

It is true that still many essential medicine are in highest price bracket. Why not you eat natural product for vitamin C. Vitamin capsules are for short benefit. more

Price of 25 tablets of 500 mg Vitamin C "Celin" is roughly Rs. 19. Also, generic Vitamin C is also available at much economical price. more

I don't which city you are in. But in Chennai and outlying villages have Vitamin C in their shops. more

It is always advisable to take natural vitamins instead of tablets. If you want tablet i think you should book through MEDLIFE, they can give the tablets more

The "low price" for vitamin C tablets is the cause of disappearance. Hence the price of vitamin C, should be cost to cost basis and no concession/ subsidisation should be there. more
