Non branded restaurants not passing gst benefit
Please see attached from restaurant in chennai. All such restaurants must be raided by legal metrology and revenue dept fast. more

Thanks for giving a very scientific evidence of cheating by this famous hotelier. It is a pity that there is so much cheating by ordinary people not just politicians. The hotel owners are making a fast buck. I am sure I will be avoiding this hotel for some time to come. more

Should take action against on that hotel, it is duty of govt. and officials but you to do this they will take action instantly more

What made our so called leaned Finance Minister to keep GST on restaurant bills at 18% slab in the beginning and after a few months to bring it down to 5% slab? It is clearly because of assembly elections in two states, the government has made the electorates fool knowing it well that our dishonest restaurant walas will not pass on the benefit of reduced tax to the consumers. Otherwise, it would have simultaneously issued suitable notifications immediately on reduction of the tax rate giving warning of stern action against those found guilty of retaining the difference amount by cunningly amending their menu prices. When the government itself of a nation display lack of honesty in its decisions claimed to be for citizen welfare & benefit, it would be foolishness to expect honesty from the trading community largely known for their selfishness & immorality. Hence, we have to fully depend on the government for passing on the benefit of the tax reduction to the consumers and punitive action taken against those increased the rates of their menus to retain the difference amount of tax reduction with themselves. more
