Non Compliance of MRP near tourist sites

Near many tourist sites across India water and cold drinks are sold above MRP. The Govt needs to make a list of top 50 tourist spots and then direct state officials to do enforcement.

If they cant do such a simple thing, they probably cant do much. more

Apart from looting tourists, they are rampant GST defaulters. Govt. should take a serious view on this. more
Where is the Government to tackle all the foul practices? The maximum violation is in the case of water bottles. In any railway compartment it is commonly sold at the price of Rs.20/- . In the Hotels, the sky is the limit. more
First of all anything which has a MRP should be sold at that price ,because whether a foreighner or an Indian only reads the MRP to note that he is not being fleeced,if the person charging more does so and the tourists have no choice but to relent to his unscrupulous manner being the only alternative they have to buy it.BUT they definitely carry their grudge and blame the country for these excess and have a bad feeling of trust of the same. The govt.should take a stern step to check this and maintain strict rules and regulations for the same without any delay. more
All through past so many years, people are habituated to disobey rules, whether it is government officials, general public they think it rules are meant to be broken and applicable to small common people. Look at the Pollution Control Board, Traffic Rules, Hospitals and Doctors, Education - take any field, everywhere rules are only in books. One can observe all rules are framed "one sided" and totally in favour of Corporates, Politicians, Banks, Police, Courts, Clubs and Schools etc. etc. The so called framers of rules ensures that the rules are made to protect the influentials, not common man. It is high time the country is made rule strict. more
All tourist places in India are a Hot Bed for day light full scale robbery done by Hotels, Restaurants, Street food vendors, tourist vehicles, etc. more
If you really want to implement any system, punishment has to be severe and fast. more
