Non Vegetarian Food Served by Hotel Citrus, Pimpri
We had been to Citrus, Pimpri, Pune couple of days back to had our Lunch with my son and Friend (Meeting after 24 years). We are Vegetarian and doesn't take egg also. We were served Chicken soup irrespective of our specific request for a vegetarian food. Before the soup was served, we got the double confirmation that it was vegetarian. After consuming half bowl, i got a doubt and requested the waiter to recheck it. To our great shock , they served us Non vegetarian chicken soup with chicken pieces . We felt very much awkward, my son vomited and about to be fainted. It's a betrayal & breach of TRUST anyhow. I couldn't digest the incident . It's fully against our value based tradition. Their Non veg food made me sick mentally & Physically for couple of days. My son is better today .I am not recovered . Taking medicines . Citrus Management is apologizing but I would like to escalate this issue further to any agencies. Any help or suggestion?? more

Mr Hariharan you should have filed a police case on this product. I dont think this is a proper forum for this more

Take up the complaint to Consumer Redressal Forum of your district, against the Hotel Citrus. Also take another complaint to Public Health Department of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, against Hotel Citrus. In your complaint at both the places, ask for adequate compensation for the trauma caused to you. A simple written complaint is good enough. Buy a book on Consumer Protection Act, 1986 to know how to make complaint to Consumer Court. Buy a book on Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, to make your complaint to Pimpri Chinchvad Municipal Corporation. I suggest you can do this complaint yourself, than going through an advocate. It is a complaint covered under consumer protection act in violation of its norms, which do not require help of an advocate. Also making a complaint against a Hotel to Public Health Department of an Municipal Corporation also do not require help of an advocate. If you face any difficulties, then, send your email to legalhelp@moneylife.in an NGO, Moneylife Foundation, for your free of charge guidance by email. You will approach only after 30 days of you making the complaint to your District Consumer Forum and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, as stated above. more

This is case of hurting religious eating habits and not just negligence file a criminal complaint with good lawyer and claim hefty damages not just damages becos I have seen socalled reputed hotels/restaurant chains are so negligent of what they serve and over & above show their big brand name which is nothing but shame on them !! we should not go by brand or outside look, confirm before entering such places and specially if you are a traditional pure vegetarian you should not go to multifood serving food joints !! more

PLEASE HIRE A GOOD CRIMINAL LAWYER AND FILE A CASE AGAINST IRCTC AND INDIAN RAILWAYS FOR "CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST" AND ALSO AGAINST INDIAN RAILWAYS FOR "DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE". ( Let the Damages sum be large so that it makes a dent into the purse of the officers concerned ) more
