Noodle makers utter disregard for FSSAI

In a CSE report, in noodles category, Nestle’s Maggi contained salt 5.8 times more than the limit while Atta Noodles by Patanjali had salt 6.2 times the FSSAI threshold

See attached details of many products. This is ridiculous and FSSAI continues to work with the industry read hobnob. Shouldnt they be regulating instead??? more

The manufacturers violating the norms should be banned from such production and heavy penalty be imposed on them immediately. Responsibility should be fixed for delay in taking action. more
Let FSSAI take action as per rules. more
Processed food industries is one of the most dangerous hurdle in the nutrition field.... And unfortunately more & more people get mis-led and waylaid by such 'junk foods'... Instead of expecting that agencies like FSSAI, etc. would intervene and regulate such unhealthy commercialized activities, why the individual customer himself/ herself get educated on 'health science' and break the target market for such products?..!! more
Accurate assessment. A no. of academic institutions have banned sales of packed fast food/processed foods in their premises. Dissemination of knowledge of hazards of such foods should be undertaken by the Central as also State Governments, municipalities, etc. more
no monitoring by FSSAI and no implementation by companies more
