Not disclosing Cancellation charges when we cancel the reservation ticket.
Why the railways don't disclose the amount that they withheld with them when we cancel a reservation ticket? After the process of cancellation is over then only we receive a message about the cancellation charges or the amount which they refund us.
Owing to this the passenger looses the chance of deciding whether to cancel or not because of loss of the huge amount in some amibiguous situations. more

Disclosing the amount of deduction on cancellation will be useful in situations when we are not sure of cancellation of travel. more

yes sms some times not received. e mail msg also . becomes difficult to show as a proof of tkt to the tte or to take a print if required to be submitted in office. more

There is no system of booking wait listed ticket under Tatkal. This way charges and hassles in cancelling a waitlisted ticket could be saved. Citizen are in fact NOT cancelling the journey but buying an available journey ticket ( Tatkal). Therefore, this option be implemented. To sum up, those who buy under Tatkal and have waitlisted ticket would be spared from Cancellation Charges. more
