Not received my Income Tax Refund for Assessment year 2019-20
I filed my ITR by mid-July 2019 but have not received my Income Tax Refund for Assessment year 2019-20 so far. Nor have I received any intimation for any irregularity.
Called up IT department who asked me to contact CPC. They said ITR has not been processed as yet. But can't advise why it's taking so long or when it will be processed. Can anyone please advice if anyone else too has not received the refund and when can we hope to receive it. I've normally always received it by September. What could be the reason for the delay and from whom to find out. more

sir instead of your savings account check your FD accounts because my refund was credited in FD account more

This is unbelievable if it is done like this. How someone can add money to FD account. more

I filed mine in the last week of August and within a month I got the refund! And 2 weeks after that the communication started - the acknowledgement mail first and then another mail saying my refund would be credited to my account soon. This was the case last year as well. I felt very proud with their prompt and accurate service. more
