Not so good news on Boosters

Speaking of boosters, it’s not great news I’m afraid.

Updated vaccine effectiveness analysis shows mRNA boosters beginning to wane from one month (week 5-9) for Omicron, and as low as 30-50% effective from 10 weeks post-booster.

This effect is not seen with Delta. more

Stop making further post on Covid in future as the society had enough during last two years for nothing good but to create fear, which is more dangerous than the virus. The world is still in dark about the disease and making different comments thereon every time. Till two months back they declared the Delta version as the most lethal, then they said that Omicron many times more dangerous than any of the versions surfaced so far and none of the vaccines discovered so far is effective to stop Omicron. Few days after they declared Omicron as too mild in comparison to Delta but spread much faster. With the result common man are completely confused and scared. We should stop it now. more
I saw the Omicron running away from India after seeing this post. more
First of all no one knows the effectiveness of boosters on Omicron. Every vaccine manufacturer is coming out with their own versions just for making money by selling their vaccines. If the boosters were so effective why so many people in the US are omicron positive where boosters have been administered? We have to appreciate of great PM Mr.Modi who is not rushing into the boosters and waiting for over 2000 experts to give their opinion more
India is way ahead in vaccination drive compared to other nations including well developed ones. Research is evolving one and keeps coming with new findings which may be totally contrary to the earlier ones, but we must accept them and adapt to new way of life. So let the government give nod for boosters. Though America is far behind in vaccination drive, government has nod for boosters and people got the shots. more
Let permission to get the booster dose be given first, then we can worry about its effectiveness. more
