Many people including bank staff write on the currency notes. Instead they should use a stickers and keep the notes clean. Due to lack of civic sense, people in India are in the habit of carrying soiled/dirty things. The public/banks should not accept such notes to create awareness among the masses as printing of new notes is done out of the tax payers money. more
All precautions to be taken to keep the bank notes clean. No where in the world you will find soiled and scribbled notes. Some cashiers were in the habit of scribbling totals on the notes and damaging them. It is a bad and dirty habit. It is good that the new fear has stopped this bad habit upto great extent. more
Accidentally something happens and due to disfigure of the notes, RBI has made it clear that that should be treated as soiled note. more
good, other wise how do calculate its printed notes in circulation/unless-it only takes them back-through these banks only.It could be any reason but the notes have to be taken back by banks and acknowledged or replaced immediately more
Not faced any such problem so far but I've saved a screenshot on my phone just in case. Thanks. more
