Now pay for inefficiency of Noida Authority
Noida Authority is expected to put additional burden on residents and have them pay more for water, sewer, lease rent and other services as it has hired a consultant to help them boost revenue
Why are the officials and consultants not focused on cleaning up the corruption, ghost employees and myriad of inefficiency that is there prior to burdening residents with increase in charges.
Consultants never want to do the hard work and frankly they are not needed if all they will do is say increase prices. After all you Noida Authority are paying them from our tax collections. more

Consultant is definitely not needed to help Noida Authority to BOOST REVENUE. Yes, it is possible that a Consultant may be able to advise the Authority in improving the water supply and Sanitation systems. It is true that the Authority has officers and staff for each of these departments.... but.. it is also true that all these people are neither qualified for water filtration and supply, nor fir Sewage treatment and sanitation. Personally I would not mind paying more to Noida Authority provided they can improve the systems. Of course corruption is not possible to be eliminated by any amount of Consultancy. This has to be done by Authority themselves. more

There are dedicated departments and staff for all the things mentioned. There is no need for any consultant whatsoever for such petty things. Water supply deptt can tell the requirement of funds for maintenance of system, similarly public health deptt has all the wherewithal for upkeep and repair/replacement of sewer lines. The thing is, we never see things being done properly. * Conservancy contract staff goes on strike every year because they are not paid salaries because funds are not released to the contractor in time, why? Only when there are mounds of garbage collected on the roads they begin to move. This is inefficiency nothing else. * Corruption is endemic as seen by multiple cases involving top people, no consultant will be able to do anything. more

Noida authority itself is in total corrpution. Hiring consultants is another way to find new avenues for corrupt practices to flourish. Its connivance with Builders is now in open who have take innocent Flat Buyers for a ride. more

If inefficiency and corruption could be curbed there may not be any need for hire charges or to have a consultant. more
