Please hand over Railway stations to private Companies to handle on international standards first & then rate stations. As of now - no station in India meets International standard.Even stations like ,Mumbai CST/Chennai Central or Howrah etc have absolutely no standard more than any Rural Bus Stand .Important that we as an user/consumer should raise our standard of judgements . Railway officials must visit and see some of the large stations in Europe to understand the maintenance of Railway stations. more
MPs, MLAs, railway board officials, minister and PM must travel in second class trains with copassengers and must understand the pain. more
New timetable in force from 1st october. But Rlys made no public announcement by releasing ads like it used to be some years back. Some newspapers gave selective info regarding change in timings or train no.s.Is this proper ?When some train departures are advanced how are the public to know about it.? Sense of accountability is lacking in this attitude.Changes in train services are not known. The Board should take note of this lapse. more
Rly has been done good protection for women's. more
Out of Trains running between Madgaon ( Goa ) and Mumbai Kokan Kanya is the best. Good Food, Cleanliness , Running schedules ect . It is learnt that it has ISO certification . Of course there may be other trains running on different lines by which I am not traveled . Unfortunately on many of the stations beggers , migrants camp on the platform making it their temperory shelter/ home . The need not pay rents. Only thing they have to take care is that Railway orotection force and station staff has to be taken care of as they are their landlords ? more
