NRI contribution to developing Institutions

Dear Sir,
Many NRI doctors would like to contribute as health missions to poorer parts of India. I am working In Singapore and a huge number of specialists are willing to help. Can the Govt of India through the local High commission facilitate the process. We have help in Maternal Mortality reduction, emergency care and transport and even high altitude health care. All the specialists we can co-opt are Indian degree holders and MCI registration is no issue.

Dear Sir, How can we help them. I would like to get in touch with them. The Singapore Govt has formal Maternal Child health program with Govt of Tamil Nadu . But We the Indian doctors may be able to take our own leave and do charity. In Fact there are doctors from Nagpur working in Singapore with me as well. Thanks for your prompt reply. Narasimhan more
Dear Dr.Narasimhan, Glad to learn that NRI doctors would like to contribute to providing health care to poor in India. You may be aware of Dr.Prakash Amte who is working in Hemalkasa selflessly for aadivasis in Garchiroli district of Maharashtra. More about him and his work can be found here http://www.anandwan.in/anandwan-project-sites/project-hemalkasa.html and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Myv8S4d1rc . Recently we had met him and he had expressed that lot of help/medical care is required in that area and people should come forward for the noble cause. If any one interested in offering help for this cause, Dr.Amte can be easily contacted from his website or let us know we can arrange to contact him. more
