Oats are definitely better compared to other carbohydrates like rice, wheat etc. But Your Hb1Ac value calls for special attention. What about exercise ? Kindly make it a point to walk about 4 km per day - 2km in the morning and 2 km in the afternoon - if feasible. However, my suggestion requires endorsement from your doctor - your age, cardiac condition, etc. need be evaluated before embarking on rigorous exercise programs more
Value 9.3 is basically numarical average of 3 months ,which highlights the trend of high suger generation in body ,it is type 1 but very near to type 2 .First of all u need to contact reputed and experienced doctors to understand the root cause ,secondly a firm opinion of qualified dieticians would help to determine the menu of diets at different times as in breake fast/lunch and dinner. They (dieticians )would suggest the course of food in different ways. Please understand it is slow progress ,need not hurry ,there is no magic stick to change the metabolism /blood culture or plus/minus of foods constituents. Lastly make a healthy routine of morning walk along with required exercises (u can discuss kind of exercises byqualified doctors/experts only) with yoga /etc .Lastly u can go for routine blood suger test at fasting for further evaluation after discussing with doctors. more
Anil, are you in Delhi? If yes let us talk some time over phone (9810086319). It will be pleasure for me if my tips could help you. First thing you need to do is stop worrying about your diabetes or any other matter in your life. more
Reduce yr carbs such as rice, potato, etc. Even 8 is also high. Increase keera, tomato, soaked dry fruits like badam, waslnuts, peanuts, etc. more
@Shishir Kant. Sir I am working as scientist. And I feel that my food habits are the root cause since I take rice and potatoes many time. This is the first time my HBA1C has come like that. Otherwise it used to hover near 7.5-8 more
