Of Govt Deptts in Ghaziabad.
It would be nice for residents of Ghaziabad District to identify the most corrupt/ useless Government Body/ Department in Ghaziabad. This city which was few years back identified as the second fastest growing city in the WORLD does not hold that rank now even in Delhi NCR. Certainly our departments have tripped somewhere that the city lost out so badly. What in the view of esteemed members is the main reason for this fall? Areas like Loni would seem like an embarrassment. Traffic situation in the city is pathetic. Slums have become the norm. Readers are complaining of dairies sprouting everywhere giving foul smell. Does this represent proper planning/ development? Independent plots which were meant for single units have got approval for 15 units through greasing hands. Is this the shape of things to come? more

I doubt whether this such a big Local Cicle of Residents of Ghaziabad is able to do any thing for Ghaziabad. Hope the voice is reaching to it's Administrator more

Biggest hot topic now Ghaziabad -Smart City project. They have almost left the past behind and only want more creations to be added. NIGAM is interested to collect more taxes of 850 crores for Smart city to get Central Government funds. So Nagar NIGAM will have more money to make more money while doing new projects. I have suggested to NIGAM to first make the present expanded city SMART and this alone will make it a SMART city. Otherwise NIGAM approach will make it more miserable and more lesser smart. more
