This chart is wrong. It has been clinically proven that oils having high MUF (monounsaturated fatty acids) are the best edible oils/cooking mediums as they lower the unhealthy LDL Cholesterol and increase the healthy HDL cholesterol - Olive oil in particular. This chart is appearing on many SM especially Twitter. Please study in depth before posting wrong information. Oils that are having a high percentage of Saturated fatty acids like Palm oil, Tallow, Lard, Coconut are not heart healthy. more
Thanks more
surprisingly palm oil is good whereas people were saying it is not good.I think toxicity is one part and we need to look at the cholesterol factor also.Looks like coconut oil is very good and i do not know whether the coconut oil which we use for our hair is same as edible also or there are different grades more
To add,Mustard Oil contains around 12-15% of Linoleic acid alongwith ~60% MUFA & ~21% PUFA… As such none of edible oils is good for health but out of all Mustard Oil is least harmful.😄 more
