OnBuying Platform Tickets at Railway Station
Railways should sensitize people about the need to buy platform tickets. It provides one legal right to enter the railway station. It is a precautionary measure taken by Railways to prevent unauthorized entry of illegal and unsocial elements. In this regard Railways should take all measures to check and penalize those who enter railway stations without buying platform tickets. Ticket vending machines will reduce the waiting time for buying platform tickets. People need not stand in long queues to buy them. But most people have no idea of using these machines. So an assistant may be asked to help people. Railways should also use media to popularize the use of vending machines. The problem of having accurate amount is another problem. This should be also tackled by giving necessary change to people.The T.T.E.s should check all people entering the stations. This will prevent entry of ticketless people . more

The 1st AC compartment toilets are very dirty and though traveling cost of 1st AC has increased substantially there have been no improvement in the comforts. I suggest that the coaches have electronic doors between them and the train staff has swipe cards to move from one coach to the other .. This will reduce the usage of 1st AC toilets by 2nd AC travelers more

computerized railway ticket like atm should be there at all platforms or there should be provision for option for platform ticket while booking your ticket. more

if u reduce the ticket to 5rs more people woll purchase u can fine the ticket less peoplr more
