ONE LEMON A GREAT HELP AND NUTRITION FOR GOOD HEALTH AND PREVENT CANCER

Take one lemon, cut it into two pieces, put it in a cup/glass. Boil A full cup of water and put it in the cup on to the two pieces of lemon. Cover it up for 3-4 minutes. Squeeze both pieces of lemon in the water and drink this water on empty stomach. You may like to add on some honey otherwise no requirement. Very good drink for morning and evening. Prevent and kills cancer bacteria. Regards and best of luck more

Though we should be believing in Research & Scientific studies,people do vouch for taking lemon peels ( being richer in Vitamin C ,compared to juice of same lemon),Boiling peels with water & drinking the same water with extracts of peels. No studies have been done ,because there are "No Funds" So long as it is a harmless extract,why not use the knowledge shared by others who seem to get benefits like prevention of Cancers,besides other disease like Diabetes type 2 . more

True. Though I have been reading about the wonderful therauptic values of lemon peel and agree that it is good for general health, my question was whether heating a lemon peel in boiling water would destroy the medicinal value of the peel.
In fact, I make an achar of whole lemons by cutting into half and then by cutting the half with scissors into fine ribbons along with the juicy pearls. Then I add ginger to it cutting ginger into fine shreds. Add some Aijwain, a few cloves and some pepper and required quantity of kala namak. I do not add any chilli powder. Then leave the whole mass for a week or ten days, checking for is any fungus (if salt is short in ratio, then fungus develops) One may add some lemon juice if there is dryness in the achar. After ten days the lemon peels and ginger taste wonderful and can be had along with phulkas, chapatis etc. It helps in digestion, keeps acidity in control and I have seen only good effects!

Agreed. A friend of mine in advance stages of cancer and undergoing chemo therapy at Tata Memorial hospital has reversed cancer and ill effects of the cancer partly by eating lemon peels with diluted lemon juice. In addition he was taking a spoonful of Amma Turmaric power with warm water. He has also committed himself to strict diet control and used to take raw vegetables and dry fruit diet.

Doctors at Tata were astonished to find he had no side effects of the chemotherapy. Fresh investigations and tests revealed that his cancer has been reversed. Heating up any fruit will dissipate all naturally available nutrients in the fruit especially the vitamins. This I believe is the reason why even fruit juices are advised to be taken at normal temperatures and not hot. In what way putting the soaking the cut lemon pieces improve or enhance its nutritional value? Soaking in tolerable luke warm water is understandable, but why in boiling hot water? Please explain. more  
Good except that this way a lot of salt was going in the system. No harm if nohypertension. more  
We are trying to extract the peel ingredients also. OR you have to eat peel along with the juice. My grandmother was a doctor. As a tradition she used to serve lemon pickle from salted lemon peice and was advising us to eat the pickle along with peel. It added flavor to the meals also. more
