One more GST request
The circles are doing top quality work and I am so happy to see like minded people working on meaningful solutions on the local circles of different subjects.
I have another ask that the circle should take up - Eliminate Tax charged under Reverse Charge Mechanism
RCM for all GST registered business with revenue under 3 crores per year.
Under GST under RCM we are getting taxed twice say I am paying my un registered water supply fellow. 1st I am paying GST that is built in MRP second I am paying GST again on the water services bill he is giving to me.
Hope the officials understand this and act on my advise of waiving RCM for under 2 crore revenue businesses. more

Appreciate circle members stand. Unless we, the citizens of this country, decide how the county's systems should be whether it is tax or not things will not change and there will be no progress. We have already crossed 7 decades after independence and still struggling for the basic needs. Let us collectively take a decision that we will move forward legitimately. Bringing the country out of correction itself will bring in significant changes. more

Arjun Singh The problem is with us that we purchase from an unregistered dealer. Once every customer (business man or the consumer) decides to purchase only from registered dealer with proper tax invoice, the problem of RCM and double taxation is not there. By purchasing from unregistered dealer the customer is a looser with higher costs and double taxation and face RCM problem. This will also help the government to increase tax collections. Absolutely Correct, Actually the Govt. imposed the RCM only to persuade people or Motivate negatively to register every businessmen in GST without any Threshold limit. more

RCM has been introduced to not to escape GST by dishonest retailers by declaring low annual turnover and buyer should try to buy from GST registered parties only. more
