The order prima facie is not in the interet of the suffering publice. There is a clear saving of around 25% in the cost of medicines, which is a substantial amount. Then there is the problem of searching the medicine from store to store, which is a horrible experience for a patient.THE PHARMACY LOBBY HAS WON A BATTLE FOR ALL THE ILLEGAL GAINS IT IS MAKING,AND THE GOVT. MUST APPEAL AGAINST THE ORDER IMMEDIATELY AND STOP THIS.We cannot allow such loot in a difficult situation like the poor health if the average man today. more

Pharma industry is dictating things, and this is one among them. Unfortunately, courts also have fallen in line. more
Instead of a total ban, the court could have inflicted it on the merit basis. This has unnecessarily put the people highly dependent on medicines in financial hardships. more
I agree. On line healthcare services are needed. It is up to the individual to decide whethr to shop online or go to a Pharmacy. more
I totally agree for on line purchase of medicine. Yes 25% discount is not a meger amount for a common man. The option to purchase medicine should be left to custmers more
Healthcare and Medicine not only mandates individual options but also tenders collective care of general public as a whole. We had been witnessing many issues including propaganda of Medicines and their efficiencies where the Doctor that suggests need recognition and, also supplying Stale and Outdated Medicines too. Therefore, the H.C. Judgment is to be taken care at the concept of general public too as well as the specific issue of Doctor's prescription. Courts will not object getting medicines through e-commerce by those individuals who want such direct service at lesser Cost through specific orders to the Manufacturers and, even this will serve only to those aware of guaranteed function of that medicine. Even as it is, there are several medicines having difference of Price ranging Rs.38 to Rs.78 also and this is allowed as option to the Doctor and Patients who choose / Opt . H.C. Order banning e-commerce for direct advertising of Deceases, their Medicines and sale of such Medicines need to be upheld please. more
