Opening Bank Account of Mentally Retarded person.
No banks are opening Bank Account of Mentally retarded person, while the government will give any help only if they have bank account.
I am father of only daughter32 years, and she is mentally retarded,when tried to have government pension for metally retarded they demanded Bank Account, no. after so many trial one branch has opened her joint account with me.
As nobody else is in my family to take her care after our death, we tried to get Pradhan Mantri Pension Yojana, but Bank says she cannot be given , as second account holder cannot get it.
Please advice, how can I get Pradhan Mantri Pension Yojana for my daughter. more

I have already requested PMO to allow Mentally Rretarded to get benefit of all the government schemes, like Atal Pradhan Mantri Pension Yojana. Regn.no.PMOPG/E/2016/0251833 , after Punjab National Bank's Reply that we have opened Joint account, there PMO has closed the file. Now again I have filed the grievance saying PMO to advice Alta Pradhan Mantri Pension authrity to add this clause to Mentally Retarded people also. more
