Opportunity & Threats to AAP
1) AAP has recently strenghtened its organization structure at the booth level including its newly formed youth wing and women cell. AAP must optimize effective utilization of its all wings. Its women and youth cell comprises more than 25000 workers.
2) All opportunists who joined the party as short cut to political rise, have already left the party. Hence, reliability and loyalty ratio has increased within the party.
3) Steps taken in the interest of the common man during its 49 days rule. Some initiatives were concluded and acknowledged also. I am in the process of compiling them.
4) Party must highlight the Centre inactiveness towards GAG audit of DISCOMS, CBI enquiry into 7 bribery cases caught by sting operation of Aaj Tak team.
5) Party must raise issue of weakening powers of Delhi chief and SIT by giving DDA/ MCD/ Police to Centre against the spirit of autonomy status of Delhi State.
6) Dishonest removal of Sanjeev Chaturvedi of AIIMS should be highlighted.
Threats:
1) Loose talk by AAP leaders to be avoided.
2) Personalised attack to any opposition leader resulting of any legal trouble to be avoided.
3) BJP is habitual of resorting to physical violence at AAP getherings/ rallies/ road shows must plan in advance or shouting vulger slogans pretending that all this is being done by public. AAP must plan its strategy in advance to counter such gundaism.
4) BJP always keep one or two unfortunate incidents of opposition ready to quote or publicise at TV channels. AAP must counter attack with same strategy since this is a very effective technique to attract attention and distract from the main issue. more
