Orange Travels Smuggling Liquor from Goa to Hyderabad Caught

Smuggling of liquor by redbus
I was travelling from goa to hyderabad on the 8th of jan 2020, along wid my sis and cousins. The Orange Travels bus driver and conductor were illegally smuggling 24 litres of liquor in the bus, due to their fault we were left stranded in a forest area as police caught them and seized the vehicle. No refund, no compensations, irresponsible behaviour by customer care, phone gets disconnected half of the times. Very unprofessional. I need a compensation for the 24hrs of ours wasted because orange did this crime. Ridiculous of them to just say sorry. And aksing us to arrange an alternative transport at midnight is such a shame to the company that promises good services. Pity such people. more

It was the responsibility of the police to arrange for alternate transport facility for the stranded passengers even if it would cost extra to the passengers. It was their (police) sheer negligence and utter ignorance of the plight of the stranded passengers for 24 hours. Therefore, the police department should first be made responsible and accountable for displaying such inhuman attitude towards the passengers put in such hardship for no fault of theirs. more
If police seized the bus, it was their duty as well to ask same travel to ask for alternate transport or arrange something. What if something would have happened to some passengers . more
First write to travel and redbus, asking compensation. If no response with the record go to consumercourt. more
Take them to the consumer court along with redbud who are both jointly liable. All the best more
I agree with Aswani kumar, follow his advice more
