Order - Pyramid Infratech

Below are the highlights of the Pyramid Infratech order and attached is the order for your reference.

- Pyramid Infratech has profiteered Rs 8.22 Crores for 2,476 Flats
- Directs Pyramid Infratech to refund or reduce the amount
- Refund excess amount to home buyers with 18% interest
- Pyramid Infratech did not pass on the benefit of ITC to home buyers
- Pyramid compelled home buyers to pay more GST than that they were required
- Directs Haryana State Tax Commissioner to monitor refunds to home buyers

Such decisions will encourage more and more consumers to stand up against injustice. It will also make the builders think seriously before charging the consumers and if the money has already been taken by the builder he will have to rethink before rejecting the demands of the customer to return the excess payments. more
