True .Where exactly the margins are maintained .Making charges can be claimed as a labour component and profit margin .This can vary and leave it the discretion of buyer …Gold with a specific standard should contain the same material uniformly and being sold with additives which will bring more margins …There should be regulation and specific standards ..any one flouting should be punished . more

No guidelines on shortage and making charges. At present they are charging ranging from 3-4 % to 20-22% as making charges. One can be surprised how they are offering discounds upto 100% on making charges and around 40-50% on making charges. Are they having such a huge margins in these charges. Government should devise some guidelines or frame standards for regulating these charges so that consumer can not be at loss. more
