other things are also important.

piyush goyal promises so many things. but railways work out reflects in stations painting only. thats good, indeed.
but whome,a passanger should contact in case, water shortage, dirtiness, fans not working in sleeper coaches. attandent is not traceable, once he starts AC, NO MATTER TEMPERATURE IS VERY LOW.
blankets smell bad, out sider vendors shout tea-- tea in coach, disturbing sleeping babies and others.
3rdAC has become just like sleeper class, where in evry vendor comes.
if you are waitlisted, TTE, will never inform you that, you are transferd to RAC,its you , who has to follow TTE, at every station.
govt should have any messaging system to inform passanger about his or her ticket status. more

Railways should provide mobile number for online complaints by passengers. The mobile number may be displayed above the wash basin (outside toilets) on both ends of each coach. Passenger should be given option to make online complaint during their journey. As soon as the passenger dials the mobile number, the system should provide the format for filling information such as PNR, complaint description; date and time should be picked up by the system. An acknowledgement no. must be provided on mobile of the passenger..... Alternately, Railways should provide an App for making online complaint. The App name must be provided on the ticket for downloading it..... more

Govt. should try to run some important trains through private franchises and see the results on cleanliness, vendor management, safety and profitability....Railways should maintain the tracks and the signalling systems and overall safety specially at stations.... RAIL MINISTER has no time. I had written 4 times since Prabhu's time to keep AC temperature for day trains at 22 & for night trains at 25 centigrade. So that we dont need dirty bkankets which smell and Rlys save on electricity. more
Our rail minister is expert talker and does nothing to streamline rail services. more
