Over charging and insensitive behaviour of corporate hospital
My younger brother felt uneasiness at his office on 12th April morning at 11.40 a. m. he was rushed to nearby hospital immediately within 20 minutes, the hospital staff insisted for deposit of Rs 50000 before admitting the serious patient, any how we managed it than they started to do the pumping and shock therapy on patient in emergency room . After half an hour they told us that angiography, angioplasty will be necessary for the patient so deposit and manage Rs 260000 immediately but they didn't give any update of patient, or they didn't allow anyone of us to see the patient who is on ventilator, suddenly at 2.35 PM one staff member came to us and told that there is no hope and chance and we are asked to arrange amount for baloon therapy, we were in big shock of sudden demise of our younger brother, who doesn't have any history of any cardiac problem and the doctors and staff of hospital were busy in discussion and planning that how to collect more money from us at that stage . When we asked for the body of our beloved brother, they insisted on paying the over charged bill which mention the treatment charges and other medical materials charges up to time of 03:55 pm. When the hospital officially declared and mentioned the time of demise 02:35 pm, on all the documents what kind of treatment they were giving to the patient after he had been declared dead. more
