Oyo rooms services have become terrible

They keep on cancelling on you just like the ola uber taxi drivers. Pathetic. Can Localcircles please get some rules made for oyo airbnb and likes more

Recently on a trip to Secunderabad, we went Online and booked a OYO Hotel Vaishnavi & booked through OYO App making payment. However when we reached the Hotel, the Receptionist after going through her Monitor announced that we need to pay and additional amount of Rs.975/- which is the difference between what we paid in Oyo portal and their actual room rent. Also there was a display they had put up saying: OYO Payments Not Accepted. When we argued, another Marketing person joined her and informed us that it was OYO's mistake that they had misquoted their Hotel Room Rent wrongly and their Marketing people were in talks with them. After connecting with OYO Customer Care and lengthy talks for nearly 30 minutes, we were offered another Budget Hotel a little distance from there. We had to bear the additional Rickshaw charges first to Vaishnavi Hotel and from there to Regal Hotel. So please don't go by the smart trendy Hotel Room Pics posted for the Hotel by OYO as in reality the Room and Toilets would be different as we experienced. more
Our experience with oyo has always been pathetic. We stopped oyoing after those experiences. Direct hotel bookings are the best. more
yes we need to be careful with oyo since when one goes out of station especially with families one cannot take risk like when we reach there and the hotel people say that rooms are not booked. We need to check upfront with the hotel people whether rooms are booked or not and take a confirmatory note from them just in case you need to take it up legally afterwards more
