THEIR REGULATION AND CONTROL IS URGENTLY CALLED FOR IN PUBLIC INTEREST. THEIR ADVERTISING AND PUBLICITY BE PROHIBITED AS INCIDENCE OF MOUTH CANCER HAS BEEN FOUND ASSOCIATED WITH CONSUMPTION OF GUTKA AND TOBACCO . THROWING ON ROADS OF EMPTY POUCHES AND POLYTHENE WRAPPERS MUST BE PROHIBITED. FSSAI LICENSE BE MADE MANDATORY AND SWATCHH BHARAT ABHIYAN RESPONSIBILITES BE LEGALLY ENFORCED ON SHOP KEEPERS AND CONSUMERS BOTH. more

Recommending a ban things is the easiest of suggestions. Who will enforce the ban. Whether banning will only ensure proliferation of illegal and underground operations. Do we have so much of Police strength and organisation to enforce all sorts of bans. Will it look good for a government of a democratic country to proscribe people's tastes and preferences or even set limits. Is all this practical in a resource starved country which has so many other pressing existential problems of poverty eradicaton. education and skilling, housing, job creation etc to bother about first. The licence issued by municipality must state that the shop is licensed to sell paan only.Then when they violate one can book them by law and punish them. more

We always say-Do not sell :Gutka.Why not stop manufacturing the item.Or print on Gutka packet -dangerous information,like it is being done on Cigarettes. more
