Each state creates it's different rules and license formats so refer to Punjab Metrology rules online and act accordingly. more

As long as corruption exist in India, no one could get correct information from any department. Thisd is because, these corrupt officials earn more from third party as broker/consultant etc., which, in virtue, a needy customer would prefer to have. more

It would be offline and fees is Rs.500/- to apply in prescribed format and contact local Metrology Department formerly called Weight & Measure Department and office is situated in department of consumer welfare, Food & Civil supplies of each Distrct of Punjab. The most funny part is that as and when you ask for such registration, they won't guide properly for the reason best known to them.
