Pan Masala And Gutka ads ban

Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgan in Vimal pan masala ad and Amitabh Bachchan and Ranvir Singh in Kamla Pasand ads are a shame to the nation.

Why are we still watching their movies and shows?

In a country where these products are banned how can the Govt let these guys do prime time TV and news paper advertising direct or substitute . Where is the ad regulation, I & B ministry, consumer ministry.

If papa is having gutka and tobacco of course son and daughter will go a step further and look for more advanced products like vapes and drugs.

Arent we digging our own grave as a society?

LocalCircles u have done multiple surveys on this. Who were they submitted to? Why have they not acted. Please ask these questions…

Or tell me I am just mad and all of this is ok. more

Completely agree. If health is the concern, then there is the large, all pervasive issue of pollution. Unhealthy to smoke, but what about the innocent person on the streets facing sporadic emissions from the huge vehicles, SUVs being the biggest causes, that cause pollution. Quoting the note attached: "Air pollution is the greatest threat to human health in India, reducing life expectancy by five years, according to Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC)’s Air Quality Life Index (AQLI) released on Tuesday. In contrast, child and maternal malnutrition reduces average life expectancy in India by about 1.8 years and smoking by about 1.5 years, it added." Quitting smoking helps you alone, while replacing your diesel vehicle, with a CNG, electric, or even petrol one, saves the environment and therefore all. more
Think about the small kids, people who dont do smoking, drinking, not eat gutkha.. Why they see such irritating ads.. This govt and these celebrities are responsible for putting youth into bad habits.. These celebrities kids never eat such things, celebrities just want to earn money.. Dhongi actors and govt.. Sab paison ka khel he.. Ek taraf i love india bolke achi achi cheeze karne ka dikhawa karte he.. Aur dusri taraf aise ads me kam karte he jis se apne hi log bigad jaye..Chahe koi bhi govt ho, Kisiko ghanta farak nahi padta.. Govt ki jeb bhar rahi he, inka business chal raha he.. Chale desh ko sudharne.. Cancer se sabse jyada log to india me hi marte he compare to all world.. Kisiko kya padi he, sirf bolne ki baat he, baki kuch nahi.. more
Gutka mixed with tobacco is only banned. Gutkas without tobacco are being called pan masala which are permitted to sell. more
At least we citizens and all the more celebrities should behave more
No, let them advertise. It is duty of peoples to ban it , boycott it. How may are following this ? Bharat ( INDIA) is having full democracy, 100 %. it means that you can do whatever you want if you can have power , money or guts. So all white collar criminals , goons are doing crimes per day. Indian Court fine them Rs, 500 -1000 as per old laws & free them. more
