Mr.Chandramouli Raghavan (Tax consultant), Are you kidding? Being a tax consultant you should know better. For rectification and reconciliation website is up and running. Problem is of multiple PAN cards of which only one is genuine. Auto-populated data will not work because many people will have same name on multiple PANs but only one biometric validated one. more

DEPARTMENT I (NOW AGED 78+) HAVE YET TO SEE AN I.T. EMPLOYEE SERVING OR RETIRED (EVEN LOWER CLASS) LIVING WITHOUT POMP & SHOW & I THINK OUR P.M. KNOWS IT,OUR MINISTER ALSO KNOW IT, BUT THEY ARE HELPLESS BECAUSE IT IS THE INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT WHICH RECOVERS MONEY FOR NEEDS OF THE COUNTRY. P.M.
