Pantry car should maintain complain book which should be checked regularly by higher officials. Irctc should include some kind of online feedback after the journey regarding the facilities provided by the train staff, this online feedback is a more transparent way since it cannot be tampered by the staff. more

irctc can also include the restaurants on the railway stations and the orders can be taken online prior to the journey. They can be cancelled till 1 hour before. Instead of having pantry car to store all the food items, they can carry light, easy to store and dry food and water. more

Pantry car can also have ready to cook or ready to eat food. We have many options in indian cuisine e.g khakhra, idli paste or sattu. This will save the wastage of cooked food more
