@ S Rojukurthi: I don't subscribe to your view of Democracy because that would result in further division of State. And by all means that will result in further chaos and infighting, that is our ancient history. Would not wind back progress just because some scientist has suddenly come up with an idea which will be overrulled by another scientist in no time. As far as UNO goes, do you have the insight to see what it stands for? Who are the guardians of UNO with veto power? Now tell me whose agenda will UNO promote? As for local level democracies you talk of, Bengal is your investigation ground where corruption and criminalization is rampant and more powerful at local levels than the State level. Please visit the villages and see what goes wrong and why. Had TN and Karnataka been under one state we would not have had the recent arson. It is easy to theorize from our couch but to go to true India, the rustics, how many care or dare to? more
Hello! Arghya Ganguly (Information Technology) ! Your patriotism is beside the issue on hand and so unwelcome . The other thoughts you brought in constitute not your introspection even but a filibuster by all counts. The UNO as dominated by you is your negative focus . Citizens , Systems & Democracy are confirmed Reforms . There are no International Scientific Standards ( ISS) forthcoming from the UNO ( United Nations Organization ) fixing the size of territory & size of population prima facie in order to be successful Democratic set-ups rather than infected to exist as malafide Democracies ! If India is divided into small Democracies , say , District-level Sovereign Nations , most of the bonafides will come back . In this country , to re-assert supremacy , one-sided struggle to maintain solidarity of large Democracy as a whole and in parts can be good for all undoubtedly and provided for only in scientific models of being Democratic which can be patentable later on like your Information Technology Solutions internationally . more
@ S Rojukurthi: India is our land and we don't need UNO to tell us what to do, we the citizens need to be active and demand criminalization and corruption be routed on emergency basis. If the government, Central or State, fails they should stand down. more
@ BM Geethaprasad:This is not retaliation against opposition, it is absolute administrative and police failure due to Criminalization and Corruption. The concern is the Central Government ditching the citizens putting them at the mercy of antisocials. Does it not look like Kashmir in the making? Break down of everything called Civil... more
Wherever we see the words DEMOCRACY / INJUSTICE , we have to memorise the issues of Civic Responsibility , Civility , integrity , Honour of the Constitution . The way of performance in the Legislature Houses { including parliament houses } ::: the neglect of discharge in U.P. ; J & K ; and now in KARNATAKA & TAMILNADU either by Political Leaders OR Police OR by Social Leaders are really anti-national and uncivilized . more
