Parents split even on school reopening
localcircles survey is indicating parents are almost split even on issue of school Reopening. I think more people need to vote on this survey.
Consider parts of UP where there is no online education. Those children will fall behind by 2 years if schools dont open when cases are low. I think schools should be permitted to open and then let the school and parents decide what makes sense for them.

Education envioraments in rural and urban areas are different in various ways. That makes it easy in rural area to follow Covid protocol while in urban areas difficult. Therefore for the time being educational institutions may start working off line where as in urban areas system may further wait till the fear of third wave subsides. Life is formost and there should not be any compromise on that. more

Why online? schooling must be through schools where they learn working in team, socialise and learn to tolerate others ( else he/she may not be partnered in the game project or group activity) . At home the students can do extra curricular activities, sports, learn their family business, learn skill of parents, learn some skill needful for living in the society- like- electric, airconditioning repairs, electronic gudget repairing, two wheeler, motor mechanic works, fashion design, tailoring, interior designs, beautician/ saloon works, welding and fabrication design etc. Even in pandemic scenerio, after online classes upto 1300 hrs, they must be pushed out to learn at least two skills each for 02 hours every day. more
