Parking lot Corruption
I would like to draw attention on Parking Lot Corruption , especially in markets area. I would like to propose to implement 1 parking rate for entire Delhi . All Parking contractors need to display their Parking Area Layout with Max vehicle capacity and while issuing they need to provide unique Parking Slip with date /time with unique serial no, so in case if we need to complain can use that parking slip as proof.
They also need to open online complaints cells / or provision of making complaints locally with Parking lot contractor. For such complaints they also need to provide Complaint ID for tracking purpose. more

There are several parking lots unauthorisedly working in Delhi. Police is hand in glove with parking mafia. The parking charges at Metro Railway stations also may be considered for reduction to encourage use of public transport. more

The State Govt should issue these along with uniquie serial number, so that they also have an idea on the revenue earned by the parking contractors and also can be referred uniquely in terms of complaints. more

Yes, these are day-to-day harassments caused to Aam Aadmi. In places like Nehru Place, CP may parking lot charge more than due by force and d not let you park if you protest. High time, gvt acted against this. Wonder, if this circle can raise petitions to AAP for acting on problems found to be important by most people. more

Abolish the concept of paid parking to eliminate the parking mafia and their goons. Provide parking space as a right to Delhi/NCR tax paying citizens. more
