PASSENGER NOT TRAVELLED REFUND.
I normally book ticket on irctc for me and for my friends. But due to sudden change of plans we may not able to travel. So we file TDR. But every time i do not get a refund as the railways reject my TDR saying that someone has travelled. The TC in most cases is benefited as the money goes to his pocket and they inform the authorities that a person has travelled.
The railways should take note of this and a fool proof system should be made. I SUGGEST that the TC should note down the passengers name and the identity number and also while filing TDR the passengers name with the identity number should be given. This should be matched with that of the TC. more

For those persons who are aggrieved with the services provided by Railways at any stage should store these 2 numbers in their Mobile Phone : Railway All India Helpline No. : 1322 and SMS your complaint with details to : 08121281212. You will get a registration SMS immediately and your complaint is lodged very easily. Try these numbers once in case of need off-course and see the result. I saw the results once, you also try !!! more

This is a serious crime on part of Railways !!! It should be immediately checked. In this case, the TTE is allowing any other person to travel on another person's reserved ticket without changing the records. Govt. should find a way to prevent these kinds of fraud by their employees. more
