Passenger Safety in Indian Railways - Additional Inputs
Most of the passenger safety issues have been correctly identified and possible solutions have been recommended. I wish to add following points:-
1. Entry to railway stations should be monitored and suspected characters must be investigated professionally without humiliating the individual.
2. RPF and GRP has to highly professional with latest communication eqpt and weapons for security of passengers and goods. If they are motivated and trained, they can ensure safety of passengers and their belongings.
3.In order to prevent crime during rush hours and crowding, rapid entry and exit of passengers through escalators and wide doors monitored through CCTV to be ensured. more
