My husband suggests to all his patients to do all test ( health package )from a new age company (costing only 1900 rs) He was surprised when a big listed company executive approached him and now they are ready to do all those test in 1900 rs ( other wise cost is around 4000-5000) , you can imagine margins and growing competition in this segment. more

Why not Health Insurance companies reimburse the OPD expenses? It should include this also as this is one of the major recurring expenditure. more

Profiteering is really a concern with unbeliable findings. In one instance, a lab technecian shared blood with two labs for a specific test. Surprisingly, the result was totally different. How to trust a lab report, with vast difference?. more

While competition is good to keep prices under check, this business has got something to do with the life of individuals. Many fake things are going on in diagnostics that it is very difficult to find a genuine company doing a sincere work at reasonable pricing. Bribing doctors, doctored reports, faking the readings are all part of this profession, so one must be careful. more

First let us be transparent as to What How many tests it will be. Now a days all labs use this word ALL or Complete helath check up starting from package 599 to 4000. Will that also cover USG/ECG/Xray etc.? Otherwise depending on the festival especially on Independance Day and republic Day dLabs like Aarthi does offer package covering almost all blood tests +USG,Xray ECG etc in just Rs.1500 more
