It will also be good if IRCTC compiles all these problems faced bty the passengers / customers and give out solutions in one Post . more
Yes. It happens often for whatever reasons and our money is gone out of my account for a few days, sometimes a multiple times until IRCTC refunds the money debited without the ticket issued. IRCTC should update their system/programs to avoid such debits without issuing tickets and the money debited in such occasions should be refunded immediately on unsuccessful issuance of tickets. more
Apply (write e mail mentioning the fact to irctc )you will get ur money back. more
send a mail. If you don't get any response/refund even after 15 days file a case in the consumer court more
Yes, it does happen to me but you will get the money back in few days. There is no need to panic. Please note that this happens to me on other websites as well which are from private financial space. Yes, this is a technological issue but chances of it happening are there. I am not defending IRCTC and I do feel that the SLAs needs to tightened (if not already) and IRCTC needs to improve further but I feel that they are way better then what they were 3-4 years ago. As far as I know they are working on the new website. more
