I have had a previous months -old problem with Paytm,.I monitor my account very carefully.Previously they have eaten up rs 500.When I would write they would repeatedly give a standard reply.Not sorted out yet.Just now at 4.10 pm or so,I put rs 500 in my Paytm account.It was not added.This is how dishonest they are.I am going to file a consumer complaint against them more

I would suggest you and all not to keep any money at all in your PayTM account. As and when you had to pay through paytm... just go ahead and pay, and paytm will promt you to pull money from your account as paytm account is empty, do that. They will just pull the amount you have to pay to the shop. Of course this will take just 10-15 seconds more of your MOST VALUABLE TIME, but it will greatly hurt PayTM. They have even open a BANK with the money which we all keep in our account. I would request ALL who have Paytm to install BHIM too... love Indianness... more
First, Govt should declare publicly what share of PayTM now is owned by Alibaba (China), Reliance (who paid a huge fortune to buy a "share" of PayTM, per news reports). For example, If I pay some 3% total charges to PayTM, what percentage goes to China, what % to Reliance, what% to Telecom operator and what % to Govt. Also, what % does Reliance charge to pay off the fortune that they have gifted Alibaba (and possibly some 40 chors, I would guess). Then citizens will take a call whether to pay through PayTM AT ALL. I absolutely do not want my hard earned money go to China of all people, or, for that matter, to Reliance. Lets not forget, Indian people spend 3 lac crores every month for day to day expenses, even a small % of this is a mighty fortune. more
Mr Brij Gupta,you may be surprised but the National Consumer online is very proactive.You can make an online complaint.I was earlier on the verge of filing a complaint online against a certain telecom company which was charging bills for zero connectivity.I did't because I was busy pursuing some other important work and given the situation,on balance ,it did not seem worth it.I tried not to pay their bills protesting via email.Then they had the nerve to send a legal notice!I settled then.But I feel many companies providing goods and services are getting away with murder! more
