PayTm used for cheating, PayTm must have means of recovering the amount

I saw a message offering POCCO PHONE FA 1 for Rs.2499 as the day's offer. Once I logged in, it asked for credit card payment, once I gave details it took to PayTm and payee is one Shri sai Pharmaceuticals. The firm does not deal with smartphones and is a fraud and collecting money through Paytm, Paytm owns no responsibility for such payment against a fake offer and thus the Paytm has become a medium of fraud.
Paytm must recover from the bank to which it credited the amount. more

Paytm Bank is an institution whose customer service executive is always anxious to close an issue without applying mind. It is a big enabler for fraudsters. I accidentally paid an amount to a vendor in Bangalore whilst I'm Delhi. He refused to refund and Paytm did not cooperate to claw back the funds. online purchases should be carried out with care. There is no mechanism of relief. You can report GST authority if it was charged. more
Don't get lured with such unbelievable offers, that too from an unknown sight or person and provide the details of your debit/credit cards' details or details of your bank account. Moreover, when Paytm itself is not taking any responsibilities for such transactions through its wallet, its foolishness to go ahead to complete the transactions for an item price for which quoted is far below its usual price. The ultimate result is as you are suffering now. So be aware and have some sort of control over greed. more
In the name of digital we are facing Online fraud in greater rate. RBI need to interfere this. As a consumer we should not fall in free/reduced price offer. We should open our eyes always before doing any transaction. more
While dealing with any unknown parties and payments, please go through their ratings and other's remark. more
PAYTM has been looting its customers since the time it was established. I had an account even before demonetisation. In 2014, I opened PAYTM wallet and deposited 1000 in it. Few days later, there was no money in it even though I did not carry out any transactions. Contacted customer care but they will just keep on saying that they are doing something about it. I uninstalled PAYTM. Even during demonetisation, PAYTM used Modi's images for self promotion without his permission. No one prosecuted them. Many businessmen who used it lost money. Money transfer is done but never reaches the opposing side. PAYTM made a lot of profits by looting money while it is being transferred and lack of response of its customer care. If the same thing happens in a bank, you can go to a branch & demand service from the personnel but since PAYTM has no branches, no one can question them. I have been using AIRTEL PAYMENT BANK since 3 years and it works perfectly. I do not get any ads from unknown people and only curated deals from AIRTEL. I usually do not bother with those deals. In 3 years, I have never had to call customer care for refunds. I have encouraged my dad of 67 years to use it since past year and we had no problem in his account either. I am asking all members of my family to get it. I have also bought FASTAG from AIRTEL and it is working perfectly. more
