Penalty on 3B

I have filled november month 3B 9 days later, while filling 3B penalty showing CGST Rs.75 & SGST Rs. 75/- i have paid the penalty & filled the return, now while filling the return of Dec'17 month return in 20th jan'18 again its showing 150+150 penalty. can any one tell me why its showing the penalty again? reply plz.. more

The penalty amount shown at the time of filing 3B pertains to the previous month which you have paid. This month penalty will be payable next month, hence it is appearing in December return more
I do agree with Mr. Shishir Kant. I do not know what Government is doing after collecting so much tax. Is there any improvement in Government functioning, sanitation, law and order, pollution etc. Government has given so much do poor - what improvement they have achieved! Can they sustain themselves with out the help of rich tax payers? Can they themselves come in that category to meet the personal needs? They are habitual beggars as they know their strength is huge population and vote bank. more
In case of there is any transaction during the month then there is penalty of Rs 50 per day i.e 9*50=450 and in case there is no transaction then Rs. 20 per day 9*20=180. I think there is transaction and u only pay Rs 150 and u still to pay the 300 i.e 150+150. more
she must have paid the delay fee but must have not cleared the same in liability ledger. The system for submission & then again filing the same with another process is misleading. The Maha VAT system was very good with appropriate sequence of filing sales , Purchase details & then uploading the final form with tax adjustment & payment details. The GST system delays are also very confusing leading to late fee charges for small players. more
When you have submitted (not filed) return was delayed for 3 days and penalty generated for 3 days @ 25/- per day total Rs. 75/-. You have deposited the same. But you have filed the return on a later date. Penalty is calculated till return is submitted (not filed) However department says you have to pay penalty till the return is filed. So penalty for remaining period (date of filing - date of submission) is carry forward in next month return. more
This is great system. Honest people will pay penalty and GST both. I saved myself by surrendering GST registration because I have no earning where I can claim GST but I am continuously burdened by GST claims by all service providers. I only wish if God could help the government by offering Kuber's hidden treasure saving citizens of this country. more
