I have shopped in brand factory today for Rs 9019 and while paying through Google pay, money has been deducted from my account . In Google pay and bank statement it says money has been debited from my account but in brand factory's system it shows request timed out. Thereafter I paid the same amount through cash and brought the products home but still my money has not been credited to my account. In that way I have paid twice money for same products. more
Similar thing happened with me.I have paid for Jio Fibre in February 2020 2 times for my Quarterly Recharge.I am a Senior Citizen age 75 years. I came to know when I updated my pass book some time back.Because of Covid 19 I have not visited the Bank for long.After noticing I have written mails to them, but no response.Even I tried on phone but there was no response from other side. I think Companies like Jio Fibre should be Customer Friendly Specially for Senior Citizens.For them they can introduce Charging thru agent or other Manual system so that such chances of error are minimised. Too much of online /computerisation may not be good for Senior citizens as Senior Citizens are not capable of handling this. more
I have a similar experience with JIO.I made double payment to JIO through its application on the same day.One was accepted another did not go through.But the amounts were debited to my bank account and Billdesk was the gateway. I wrote many mails to JIO customer service. each time they will ask for screen shot of the bank statement which I promptly shared with them. Even then I will get a reply asking me to furnish the same. having fed up with this, I approached Billdesk which is associated with Bank of Baroda which acknowledged the receipt of the same and also said that it was deposited with JIo.I communicated the same to JIO by forwarding the communication received from Billdesk and I got a prompt reply saying share your screen shot. JIO is not applying its mind and probably the replies are from robots. I am thinking of taking the matter with consumer court. Any suggestion. more
I don't use any of the UPI methods and make all payments through Internet. In fact, the bank officials advise me that Internet payments can be more easily retrieved than APP payments. I had only one occasion when some amount got misplaced but bank retrieved it. It is a bit cumbersome process and they need to pursue it patiently. more
