People Like Gabbar Singh Tax Reject Gabbar Singh

People of Gujarat wisely and decisively voted in favour of Gabbar singh Tax and appropriately rejected Gabbar singhs who have done only one work of collecting haffttas in their life. Now armed with endorsements from public, Govt should take every step to sort out procedural problems, further simplify the system and reduce the GST rates to pass on benefits to general public. Our Harvard Educated self proclaimed Economists should keep mum on GST and other matters to help nation grow and at the best can concentrate their great experience for collecting haffttas and doing anti national work. Let us work for GST and other reforms. more

Dear All, We are small time exporters, and in an average export is done to other countries every month. But we are facing a serious problem that from July onward Not a single paisa have been refunded by Govt. in lieu of GST. We are getting duty drawback regularly in our bank account, which signifies that , that the bank accounts is properly linked in the customs records . Now with exporting an item of 18% GST, every month this amount is blocked in Govt. Coffers. So now after 6 months our capital have almost dried up for another export to be done. Where as Govt. Had initially promised that 90% of GST will be refunded within 7 days of export & 10% after 60 Days , after verification of all Documents. more
As per ACT, it has to be refunded within 10 days from the date of application You should check the correctness of application more
Changes are challenges but please remember that changes are only constant rest all change. Demonetisation and GST are all implemented with good intention but there are many hurdles including people who don’t want things to go smoothly. But people are determined and things will fall in line. more
I am in support of all the changes which are for the betterment of the country, but I have been witness of quite a few disasters and I have seen a small child die due to these, and I am unable to stop thinking the face or the mother whose child was suffering in her arms and she being totally helpless waiting for her husband to come back. more
All said and done, for any reform to be implemented, peoples should not die due to Demonetization and GST many people have lost their lives. Due to GST many small & medium business has closed. Many have started doing jobs and quite a few have committed suicide. What happens to the family of those who's earning member has died due to this? I request a few members of this group to go and spend only a day with these families and you will know the pain and hopelessness they are going thru. It is easy to say and discuss when you are not affected. more
Instead of using such harsh words, just go and visit those families with a neutral mindset and you will understand what I mean to say. more
We are in constant touch with all type of traders. No loss due to demo and gst. Only secular haffttakhors, chors goons traitors and idiots are barking. more
How many Startups and Small Business have you visited and spoken to. I urge please don't comment if you have not gone into the depth of it. more
Dear Members, We all are free to raise our voice according to our thoughts. Other members should not take a right to ask any one to keep MUM on any issues. I am truly in favour of reforms and strict compliance for improved living conditions in our native place claimed to be rich in ethics and moral values in the past. The foremost reform desired in the country is corruption free society and environment supporting that. In my view, to start with, (1) No cash transaction above Rs.2000 should be permitted and later by end of one year this value should be reduced to Rs.200 for cash transactions. (2) All including political parties should declare the receipts every quarter for at least next two years and subsequently, this period may be enhanced to half yearly. (3) Together with declaration of receipts, amount spent for the purpose of revenues and receipts should also be declared. (4) Liability of income tax has to serviced as per the current norms. (5) Income tax exemption limit should be enhanced to Rs.9 lakhs allowing Rs.75,000 per month for personal and family expenses specially in Metro Cities and sub-urban cities around metros. Other places and even in Metros let the people earn more and save more benefitting themselves and the country. (6) Tax rates should be set at 10% and 20% only with no surcharge. (6) Minimum wages in the country should match with the salary of MPs and MLAs or alternatively these elected members should have no right to escalate their salary level above the minimum wages if they really have a feeling for their nation and wish to care its people. No currency note should be above the value of Rs.500 in current days and subsequently we need to keep no notes above the value of Rs.200. Size of Rs.100, 200 and 500 should be same facilitating ATM machines standardisation. GST implementation was absolutely good for the nation but without many loopholes. The rates have been unduly fixed on higher side affecting the consumers (common people) ultimately. To me even 15% is a very high rate. There should have been no GST on food items, agricultural produce, raw cloth of any type and basic building materials like cement, sand, bricks. Manufacturers and Producers should have been asked to optimised cost in a transparent manner for the sake of society development. Ultimate intentions should have been made that the Government is keen to bring down the cost of essential products affordable by all and other products in sensible range. What is the harm if every one in the country can afford a car/four wheeler of good quality with least emittance of pollutants. Secondly, Government has to demonstrate that it also desire to optimise and reduce its expenses minimising the liability on the citizens. So far, none of the government has ever attempted this need for the sake of improving the economy of the Nation. If we can not achieve the conditions of 1947 in relative foreign currency we should reach the level as was prevailing in early 1960s. The slogans are always good to change the approach but these need to be followed by one and all in sensible manner. The proposed manufacturing set ups with investment up to Rs.100 crores with adequate and appropriate technical merits should be promoted with non-recourse funding encouraging the new entrepreneurs. Need of collaterals must be avoided and even promoters contribution should be accepted at five (5) to ten (10) percent of proposed total investment. Productivity of the Nation is required to be enhanced for better economy. The lost principle of self-sustainability has to be recognised and incentivised for bringing back in practice. more
Thanks PN Bhargava ji. Let us remain in touch for common goals. (shishirkant@vsnl.com) more
I fully support Mr Shihir Kant's views. Along with the issues of GST, Income Tax etc. Govt. should also concentrate on open corruption prevailing at ground level. It may be not be large but if tackled effectively, it would create a positive impact on masses and would prove a strong deterrent to corruption at higher level. more
I am sure the Government will seriously look into problems faced by people in implementing GST. However, I also feel that Government should not reduce GST Rates merely to appease different sections. People don't seem to understand that while GSt has been introduced ( as a uniform Tax), the several other taxes which were prevalent earlier stand abolished, making it easier for people to honestly pay taxes and the Government to earn adequate resources for welfare facilities. I also feel that we wil all find that with increase of revenue receipts, the Government will surely reduce direct taxes like Income Tax. more
Dear if BJP has not won the City seats they are in doll drum. BJP shpould thanks Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara. total 51 Seats. more
