Persistent harrasment calls by Bajaj finance and banks

I have been getting lot of calls from Bajaj finance and other financial insitutions including private sector banks like ICICI AND HDFC etc from across the country for loans and credit cards. This seems like harrasment as they call from different numbers despite requesting them to erase my contact details. I have so far received around 400-500 calls in 2019. This is a case of personal data leakage as our contact details are publicized and shared with these entities. One can understand that if a consumer like me needs a loan or a credit card, I will straight away contact my bankers and will not entertain any such offer on phone. These calls may be fake or spurious also. How to believe them? I am also into sales, but have never tried to sell anything on phone. Have always visited the customer and closed the deal.
Hence, request the ministry of finance/RBI/IRDA to ensure stoppage of such calls or caution people to avoid communicating with such pranksters unless meeting the salesman in person. more

Just avoid with the remark that "I am not interested". more
Yes very disturbing. more
Still I am receiving calls for credit cards and loans and all bakwas stuff from financial entities, some of the names of which are mentioned above. Despite my above post last week, no action seems to be taken as lot of people are affected by these calls. I am also convinced that the ministry of consumer affairs is not interested and the central government as a whole is interested only in political agendas like CAA, NRC and blah blah. blah. In my opinion, unless we dig out the roots of all these cheating stuff, we cannot become a safe country. A safe country can only progress and progress is mandatory for any nation. more
Such harrassment calls come from fake placement agencies asking registration fees on turn for job offers. All are fake. No genuine placement agency or company would charge fees for recruitment. Need to caution poor/ jobless people as these goons target only the needy and desperate. more
I would like to join for action in this. Please let me know how I can do so. I have registered DND and downloaded the app and regularly complain through the app. They close the complaint with various notes; 'no error found' / 'notice sent to subscriber'/ 'subscriber disconnected'... etc. I received an SMS offering 'friendship with housewives airhostesses...' BSNL reverted to my provider Vodafone that it was a "service" message. Following up with Vodafone, asking where I could complain about this further did not deliver any results. Mails to TRAI did not even get a reply. The government has just off-loaded this policing on to the companies, but as it collects tax on every payment we make to the telecom companies the government itself needs to offer resolution of these issues. more
