Personal Interviews
Most of the Personal Interviews in government jobs are meant for bargaining money. I am not talking about the IAS and other elite services. But why an interview for a post of junior assistant, forest guard, school teacher, peon etc? If there is a qualifying test along with the set qualifications, that should be sufficient for getting these jobs. People pay lakhs to get 20% marks (set aside for this personal interview). more

I was asked to come for interview in hotel Hyatt for spa therapist. They had my cv / resume and the hr asked me. "So pls tell us about yourself....why all of sudden u decided of this. And they don't have much work I should try in tony and guy". There were two hr. Mr. Richard gras and Mrs.yasmin choudhry. I have completed diploma in western and oriental spa and diploma in beauty culture from vlcc pune. Still they refused. In indeed job they show they need spa therapist for facial, manicures, pedicures and body spa treatment.. Still they said as per my talent I should try places like tony and guy. aThey didn't ask me if I had tried other places or not. I told you can talk to our hoi of the institute. The hr Yasmin took contact number of the institute. They said to try their and if not we are always there to help you Its really strange HR.richard gras Of Hyatt don't know that tony and guy are good in hair therapies. Not for facials and skin treatment. She called hoi to know my background and next day she sends email to provide her students of only spa. This is cheating Really I didn't understand and hoi of our institute also said strange. So much education so these people have but they don't know about how to take interview or this is how they take interviews by asking and suggesting anything. more

Being an advocate my view is that, doing away with certain provisions off law would not help. Laws good or bad have not been effectively implemented to know its true worth. Existing provisions of IPC/PCA have not been implemented properly, which emboldens bad elements in the system, as they take shelter under the fact that Courts/Judges can be pushed around to their advantage. more

I fully agree with Pritamji. In my days there was no interview for Government non gazetted posts mentioned above. The rank list was published and appointments made on the basis of rank list. I do feel the present interview is either for favoritism or bribes. more
