Pesky SMS less common now

I appreciate the persistence of LocalCircles and members who have been pushing for resolution on pesky sms and calls over the last 5-6 years.

I saw the lC survey uploaded on its site

And to be fair to us feel that pesky sms situation is getting better while pesky call situation is still bad.

Let us all share our experience on this here and LC manager please add them

Yes, pesky calls, particularly from Insurance and loan giving banks continue unabated. You can add email to this list. HDFC Bank is the worst. SMS from real estate, Bajaj Finance and NoBroker are continuous and unnecessary. The Companies or Instritutions sending these kind of messages need to consider that they are disturbing and infringing on the peace of the individuals and must restrain. Or there must be a Government body to control, oversee and punish such agencies. more

yes we have been getting pesky calls and lot of unwanted calls like bank loans /share brokers for demat account etc more

Pesky SMS is very much in control but fraud calla still are unabated. more
