Petitions of Public Interest

Dear Circle Members,
I have created following two petitions which are purely of public interest as it affects each one of us. The details are as below:
1. Airlines must charge only 20 pct of ticket value as cancellation charges-- Circle Transforming India
While the petition has been visited by 6183 members, only 546 members have signed the petition. I am not aware as to why others have not signed the petition. May be difference in views. However, I would have clarified if there was any difference in views. Rest assured all of us are affected with such unfair business of Airlines. I therefore request to provide me the feedback to enable me to clarify so that the petition is signed by as many members as possible to put pressure on DGCA to regulate the industry. 2. Charging of Taxes on MRP, Discounted Prices or the Revised MRP- Circle: Weight, Measurement and MRP Enforcement
This petition has been visited by 1293 members and signed by 148 members. This petition was created so as to compel the Legal Metrology Department of Ministry of Consumer Affairs to issue a notification to the trading community to adapt fair business practices and stop charging taxes on MRP/ Discounted MRP. This unfair business practices is prevailing across the country and let me assure you that all of us are affected with this unfair business practices. I would appeal all members to extend their cooperation in getting signatures to the petitions to enable all of us fight jointly on unfair business practices by retailers. Please let me know what exactly is to be done and I will do so. more
There are many things for the airlines to be taken into cosideration by the DGCA ,a new revelation given by AIR VISTARA in which I found my suitcase opened on the conveyor belt shown to their representatives and on on calling to the heads of Vistara they inform me that they are not responsible for the same, and all valuables kept in the checked in baggage must be declared,if you do that certainly expect them to be stolen and the law they state is maximum payment is Rs.500/- Joke more
Airlines are robbers. We never get more than 10% refunds, almost. Even rule of less than 500 kms or 1 hour flight (tkt cost limit of Rs.2500/-) is never observed. more
They can have proportional cancellation charges like Railways on time basis.Similarly for delay in flight, passenger has to be compensated. more
Sir there are already regulations for delayed flights , cancellation of flights and denied boarding. more
