Petty Corruption in Daily Life - Inputs Sought
With this post, we would like to seek your inputs on the various forms of petty corruption you face in daily life. From paying the garbage pick up person to do his job and the traffic cop to let go, please list the various cases.

Below instances where we end up paying money forcefully. 1. Paying to garbage pickers is must nowadays otherwise they stop coming to pick and there is no one to monitor or see that they are doing their duties. This should be strictly prohibited in every big/small cities where the municipality exists!! 2.We pay for the driving schools for getting passed in the drive test(specially four wheeler!!) where they wont see who is driving inside!! 3.We pay extra fixed amount as bribe for property registration(as recently known to me from developer who is selling the sites)!! 4.Contractors pay for the higher level people to approve the bill/work/tender etc and they end up doing bad quality work!! more

The human life is an opportunity given by God to us to improve our selves and become pure in all respects free from any kind of corruption. This fact must be understood by educated people. But we see they turn blind eye to purity and morality of life and also turn deaf ear to the teachings of our great teachers of Vedas and Shastras. more

The greed for more money, power and positions breed corruption in public life. But there is law to stop corruption which is not enforced by the authorities because they are also greedy people. If one person is honest in an office or in an organisation then he is removed from his position by framing some false charges against him. Also the investigation agencies become greedy and after being nicely bribed they manipulate reports and close the case. This happens in many departments. So one has to introspect and look within to eradicate the roots of evil which is nothing but the greed. They think that no body sees when they commit corruption and no law can punish them but they should know that they themselves are the witness of their own misdeeds. So later on in this life time itself, they develop guilt in them which invite diseases like cancer, stress, BP and heart attacks to be finished. more

No ethics works for getting the work done in a Government organisation except bribe. Stop bribe by using a dedicated telephone number with the anti-corruption department of Police in the town. more

Its really worrisome as our moral values are at the lowest point, no country can prosper with most of the people only living for themselves. We require all front action like transparent & timely functional laws, evaluation of all Govt employees functioning, yearly basis.Evaluation should include public views & all stakeholders.Corruption is happening in every department so both central & state govt should act in coordination. We also require change in election process in terms of funding,eligibility of candidates,etc which is one of the major reason of corruption. more
